Two Men, Two Tractors...Too Far?

Welcome to the Slow Way Down, a story of heroism and road-hoggery - and a blatant, bum-bruising attempt to raise thousands of pounds for Cancer Research UK.

We are two guys on a mission: to drive from John O’Groats to Land’s End on vintage red farm tractors. We’ll be chugging along at 15 miles an hour on a B road near you between Thursday 29th May and Saturday 7th June.

Apologies to Ewan McGregor or Charley Boorman: we realise our Massey Fergusson 135 farm vehicles are no match for their BMW Adventurer motorcycles. But we can kick up just as much mud and we can do wheelies.

PLEASE GIVE GENEROUSLY to support our big-tyre trek. Go to our page on the Just Giving website or send a cheque made payable to Slow Way Down to Laura House, Gestingthorpe, Halstead, Essex, CO9 3AX or 12 Stafford Street, Eccleshall, Staffs, ST21 6BH.

Tractor drivers may do it slowly – but they finish the job. Here’s mud in your eye,

Roger and James
